GAMA Applauds U.S. Senate Confirmation of Daniel Edwards and Michael Graham
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) welcomes the U.S. Senate confirmation of Daniel J. Edwards as U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Assistant Secretary for Aviation and International Affairs, and Michael Graham as a Member of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
“GAMA congratulates Daniel Edwards and Michael Graham on their respective confirmations to serve in important roles that interact closely with general aviation manufacturers and the industry as a whole,” said GAMA President and CEO James Viola. “Mr. Edwards has a keen understanding of the issues and polices that are important to innovation and the advancement of the general aviation industry. Mr. Graham has a deep knowledge of aviation that is well respected within the industry. Prior to confirmation, Edwards served as the DOT Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Aviation and International Affairs, and FAA Associate Administrator for Airports. Graham’ s confirmation will mark his second term as a member of the NTSB Board, where he serves as Vice Chairman.
